Support for SMEs

To support and nurture innovative entrepreneurs dedicated to technology R&D to take the first step in their venture and provide seed funding alongside comprehensive startup support to encourage them in turning promising concepts into viable business plans.

The SPIN@HSITP Programme (SPIN) provides a 1-year funding and support to technology entrepreneurs, facilitating the transformation of innovative ideas into tangible commercial outcomes. This programme accepts company application and team application (individual) and will offer seed funding up to HKD150,000.

Apart from the seed funding, SPIN also providing start-ups and entrepreneurs to leverage HSITP abundant resources and support, including:

• Extensive training covering business planning, project pitching, and other core areas 
• Incubation operators and industry players to guide the start-up journey
• Connect with our ecosystem with access to co-working spaces in HSITP*
• Nomination for IGNITE@HSITP Programme

*Subject to availability

• Have an innovative idea related to Life & Health Technology or AI & Data Science; AND
• For company applications: it must be a Hong Kong-incorporated private company limited by shares, established for less than two years as of the application deadline; OR
• For team applications: all applicants must be aged 18 or above. Upon approval, a private company limited by shares must be incorporated in Hong Kong within two weeks

• The SPIN@HSITP Programme opens for application once a year.  Please visit the Programme's website for the application periods.
• Applicants shall submit the completed online application form with supporting documents and business proposal through the online system.
