Accessibility Statement

We are committed to ensuring that our website conforms to the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA requirements to the maximum extent. However, not all Level accessibility features are incorporated for the page you just browsed because of one (or more) of the following reasons:

  1. The page contains contents owned by third party and conversion is not appropriate as it may affect the accuracy of the contents.
  2. The page contains multi-media and PDF materials. It is not possible to incorporate all Level AA accessibility requirements in these materials due to technical constraints. Nonetheless, these materials are so located as not to affect the accessibility of other contents in our website.
  3. The page contains some archive materials that are not frequently used.

Should you have any enquiries or comments on its accessibility, please contact us by phone or email.

Accessible by Popular Browsers and Operating Systems

The HTML 5 standard has been applied to the webpages, and users can access them with any browser that complies with the standard. But exactly how a webpage is displayed differs between browsers, computers and operating systems. For the best viewing, we suggest that you use the latest version of Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Safari or Google Chrome.

Chatbot Function

This website is integrated with an Artificial Intelligence (AI) chatbot to help users navigate through the website and facilitate their search for information, including URLs to relevant webpages, featured in the website.

Operating on natural languages processing and machine learning technologies, the chatbot analyses the inputted texts (supported in Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese and English) to try to understand users’ needs and provide them with suitable information. Given the great variety of enquiries and limitations of machine learning, the chatbot’s response may not be always correct. We will strive to improve the chatbot’s accuracy by learning the suitable answers to various questions through conversations with users.

Should you need help from TID staff, please contact us by phone or email.
Telephone number: 2398 5133

The chatbot function will not request users to provide any personal identifiable information. To secure the protection of your privacy with respect to personal data, you should not provide any personal identifiable information when using the chatbot.
