Support for SMEs

To promote and explore opportunities for the new generation of Hong Kong creative fashion talents and entrepreneurs, and connecting them with business partners.

Launched in 2017, Fashion Incubation Programme (FIP) is managed by the Hong Kong Design Centre and fully funded by the Hong Kong SAR Government.

FIP is open to 5 fashion brands per year. After paying a monthly participation fee of HKD1,700, the selected designer brand will be entitled the following during the 2-year programme period:

• Up to HKD250,000 in seed funding for cross-disciplinary collaborations and co-creation projects
• Expert Insights and Empowerment Programmes
• Fashion and Technology Intelligences
• Fashion Marketing and Promotion Support
• Access to Studio Space

• Have a passion for fashion design and a drive to succeed in the design industry
• Own a fashion design-oriented business either incorporated in Hong Kong or overseas for more than 3 years, and work in fashion design-related area
• Have exhibited or showcased at least two collections, preferably internationally
• Have an eye for quality and a high degree of technical competence
• Have a desire to keep learning
