Support for SMEs

To provide seed to Series A stage and beyond funding to Cyberport digital entrepreneurs to assist them to accelerate, and promote the development of the venture capital ecosystem for digital entrepreneurs in Hong Kong.

Cyberport Macro Fund is an investment fund which targets to co-invest with other private and public investors in the Cyberport digital entrepreneurs.

Investment Criteria
The Macro Fund Investment Committee, comprises experts from the financial and tech industries in the region to oversee the Fund. Investment decisions are made upon an in-depth study in the following area:

• Thorough business assessment including, but not limited to, compliance, governance, financial position and business viability
• Potential return on investment
• Proven involvement in the Cyberport community

Investment Amount
Between HKD1,000,000 to HKD20,000,000 for Cyberport’s accumulative investment per new investee.

Eligible applicants are scalable digital technology companies with operation based in Hong Kong, which also bear one of the following identities:

• Incubatees or graduates of Cyberport's other programmes
• Cyberport Smart-Space companies
• Cyberport office tenants

Applicants shall fill in an online form to indicate their intent to apply for Cyberport Marco Fund.
