Support for SMEs

To grant loans to local crop farmers for agricultural production and development.

• The Vegetable Marketing Organization, which was established under the Agricultural Products (Marketing) Ordinance, allocated HKD200,000 from its trading surplus to set up Vegetable Marketing Organization Loan Fund in 1953.

• During 2022/2023, a total of 17 loans amounting to HKD1,515,000 were issued to farmers.
